My ...We actually don't use this system anymore. My kids are 13, 9 and 6 and they are allowed computer time every day but the younger ones get bored and get off in less than 30 minutes and my 13 year old gets 1 hour.

Brushing teeth and basic stuff earns no money as those are things you should do every day regardless.

As far as your 4 year old earning something on the weekdays, what about keeping a treasure chest of craft activities or small books, coloring books, toy cars, etc. as a prize for completing a chore. You don't have to give it to him, maybe just let him have playtime with it that day.

Yes, they did just flip it over and the backside of the tab said Done! on it. I hope that answers your questions. If not, let me know and I will help however I can.

Now the kids don't have a chore chart but they have set chores to do and they can each earn $1 a day. My 13 year old has to take out trash and clean up the yard, my 9 year old washes dishes everyday, and my 6 year old is to gather laundry or take toys from the living room to the bedroom. They are all expected to clean up after themselves but still, random toys and things get left places, so Sara is to find their spot.

Oh, and weekends don't count towards allowance...everyone pitched in together to clean up. So each of them has the potential to earn $5 a week.Cortnihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07385155009616295487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6684762085480579617.post-46863818840292371572009-09-08T19:43:09.641-05:002009-09-08T19:43:09.641-05:00okay and how much do they get for completing their...okay and how much do they get for completing their basic chores...like brushing teeth etc? is that a set amount per day?misguidedmommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10512111894191254653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6684762085480579617.post-33616587572348594192009-09-08T19:41:51.781-05:002009-09-08T19:41:51.781-05:00okay i dont quite understand that last chores done...okay i dont quite understand that last chores done part. i thought they just flipped it over when it was done, what do they move there? the extra chores? how old are your kids? i have a 4 year old and he is only allowed computer time on the weekends so i can't think of something to do on the weekdays that he could earn or lose, do you have any ideas?
