Patriotic Pool Party

Aaron's friend Trevor invited us over to celebrate the holiday and go swimming.

I made these chocolate covered strawberries to take with us! They are just dipped in white chocolate and then blue sprinkles.

I put them on a platter with fresh blueberries!

I also made these jalapeno poppers. They are delicious and were a big hit!

All you do is cute jalapenos in half, scrape out the seeds, fill with cream cheese, wrap with bacon and bake in the oven on a broiler pan! You definitely do not want to cook them on a cookie sheet, you really want the grease to drain as much as possible.

Patriotic toes! All 3 of us girls had are toes painted this way...complete with real glitter!
