The kids were playing outside and I thought that I would harass Emma for a few minutes and follow her around taking her picture! I just love her to death and I love to take her picture!!

Friday Night

Last night to celebrate the kids finishing their first week of school we had hot fudge sundaes and watched The Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie.

That's it. Nothing too exciting. It was nice to relax and chill with the kids.

I took a picture of the girls this morning but Emma's pic turned out super blurry so I only have Sara's today.

The kids are disappointed that tomorrow is the last day of school for the week. I guess that's a good thing!

I am looking forward to tomorrow night because it's the premiere of The Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie! We are gonna lay blankets and pillows on the floor; have some nachos, popcorn and soda and all watch it together!

school lunches

I'm bored so I'm posting lunches. All 3 kids have been taking their lunches to school so far, it's been fun thinking up new things to put in so they don't have the same boring thing. Except Sara. She is a creature of habit and wants the same thing everyday.

Here is Emma's lunch for today. (well part of it) I made her 2 mini cheeseburgers, carrots, black olives and in a separate container she had some mac n cheese and a fruit cup.

Emma's lunch Tuesday. Pasta shells with olive oil, feta cheese, artichoke tapenade, marinated mozzarella balls thinly sliced, fresh chopped spinach leaves and black olives. It is soooo good!!

This is the 2nd part of her Tuesday lunch. Tuna and cheddar mini sandwiches, strawberries, and not pictured is a little pkg. of cheese.

Sara's Tuesday lunch. Mustard sandwich, cheese, pepperoni, yogurt drink and one grape. Yep just one. That is what she told me to put in. When she got home yesterday I asked her if she ate her one grape and she said "yes, but I meant to tell you 3 grapes". lol She cracks me up!

Anthony's lunch. Two mini ham sandwiches, carrots, some PJ ranch, cheese stick and chips.

I didn't take their picture this morning but I should have because they both looked super cute. I made Sara a bunch of hair bows to match her school outfits exactly.

Hey guess what!!

Today marks the two year anniversary of starting my blog!! I can't believe that it has already been two years. I think having a blog is a wonderful way to record our lives and I want to thank everyone who reads my blog. I really do appreciate it!

First Day of School Crowns

I made these crown for the girls to wear at dinner last night to celebrate the first day of school. I got the idea from this blog and thought it was an awesome idea. I plan on making them each one for their birthday's too.

Here is Sara's crown. I love the bird on hers.

Emma made the little scrunched up green piece and chose where to put it.

I didn't get any pics during dinner so I took them after they took a bath. Emma doesn't like the flash on my camera so she always looks sleepy in her pics! lol

We had such a good day yesterday and I am so excited that fall is coming. Fall is my absolute favorite time of year and I can't wait!!

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school. Anthony is going into 7th, Emma is going into 3rd and Sara is in Kindergarten. All 3 of them were really excited this morning.

Sara was not happy. She is soooo shy if she is in a new situation or doesn't know you. She was not pleased at all with being at school once we got inside.

One Year

Today was the one year anniversary of the death of our friend Will. It's hard to believe that it has already been a year.

This year, same as last year, we went out to the lake to celebrate Will's life and release balloons for him. Today was a really good day.

Here I am with Will's sister Sam. This was the first time I've met her but we have been talking online and on the phone and I think it's awesome that we have become friends.

Here is Will's daughter Katie. She cracked me up today, hitching a ride on my back in the lake, I couldn't shake her loose! lol

Kristen is Katie's mom and today was a happy day except for some tears when we released the balloons.

The plan is to come out to the same spot at the lake every year to do the same thing. I love our group of friends, we are all more like family. We all miss Will but we won't let his memory fade.
